Job summary

Wood is seeking an experienced Instrumentation Engineer in Abu Dhabi to provide technical expertise in all instrumentation design, ensure compliance with ADNOC standards, and coordinate with EPC contractors to meet project timelines.

You will review engineering deliverables, work with IPMT and operations teams, and support pre-commissioning and commissioning activities, leveraging 15+ years of oil and gas instrumentation experience.

Qualifications

Bachelor of Science in Electrical or Instrumentation Engineering.
Minimum 15 years of relevant oil and gas experience.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
Excellent technical team and interpersonal skills.
Experience and detailed knowledge of relevant international codes and standards.
Knowledge of engineering computer programs and general business software.

Responsibilities

Provide technical expertise and coordination for Instrumentation Engineering activities.
Review and ensure Instrumentation design/compliance with ADNOC standards and codes.
Coordinate with IPMT, EPC Contractor and site interfaces to resolve technical issues.
Lead engineering reviews of deliverables and maintain design quality.
Participate in design option development, optimization and validation.
Assist during installation, pre-commissioning and commissioning activities.
