Job summary

Wood is seeking a Senior Instrumentation Engineer (Packages and Field Instruments) for ADNOC-related projects in Abu Dhabi. The role requires extensive experience in design, modeling and integration of instrumentation systems across offshore and onshore facilities.

Offshore, DCS/SCADA/ICS, SIS, and SPI knowledge are essential. The candidate will lead instrumentation design activities, coordinate with multidisciplinary teams, manage interfaces, and ensure compliance with international codes,

Qualifications

Minimum 15+ years in oil & gas upstream offshore
PMC experience highly preferable
Experience in Middle East / GCC projects with major operators
Fully conversant with international codes and standards
Excellent command of English, analytical and proactive

Responsibilities

Design, model and analyze packages and field instrumentation per client standards
Plan and execute instrumentation design for field instruments, DCS/SCADA/ICS, Fire and Gas and SIS systems
Prepare data sheets, I/O lists and ensure QMS compliance
Coordinate with project teams and clients; assist in proposals and pre-qualification documents
Identify issues impacting progress and stay updated on new technologies and standards
