Job summary
Wood is recruiting for Lead Instrument Engineer for the ADNOC Offshore US LTDP project. The role focuses on providing technical expertise in instrumentation design and ensuring compliance with ADNOC standards and codes.
The candidate will coordinate with EPC contractors, IPMT, and ADNOC stakeholders, review engineering deliverables, and support installation, pre-commissioning and commissioning activities across large offshore projects in the Middle East.
Qualifications
- Bachelor of Science degree in Electrical or Electronics Engineering.
- Minimum of 15 years of relevant oil and gas offshore experience.
- PMC experience is highly preferable.
- Experience on large projects in Middle East / GCC (Saudi Aramco, Qatar Energy, PDO, etc.).
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Knowledge of international codes and standards; engineering software familiarity.
- Ability to make independent planning and coordination decisions.
Responsibilities
- Provide technical expertise in Instrumentation design.
- Coordinate with EPC Contractor and IPMT to meet project expectations.
- Review Instrumentation deliverables for quality and compliance.
- Participate in design option studies and optimization.
- Assist during installation, pre-commissioning and commissioning.
