Job summary

KBR – Inhouse Engineering in Abu Dhabi, UAE, seeks a Senior Instrumentation & Control Engineer with 12+ years in oil & gas. Lead FEED and detailed I&C design, ensure regulatory compliance, and coordinate with multi-disciplinary teams for safe, reliable solutions.

Candidate will mentor engineers, drive quality, and support site surveys and data collection for brownfield and greenfield projects in the Middle East.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Instrumentation or Electronics & Communication Engineering or equivalent.
• Professional certifications in Instrumentation, Automation, Functional Safety are a plus.
• Minimum 12 years total experience with 8+ years in I&C design for oil & gas.

Responsibilities

• Lead I&C design across FEED and detailed engineering phases for oil & gas projects.
• Develop instrument data sheets, I/O schedules, SRS and control narratives.
• Review wiring diagrams, loop diagrams, installation details and layouts.
• Mentor engineers and ensure QA/QC across deliverables and schedules.
• Coordinate with process,Electrical, mechanical, and other disciplines.
• Support offshore/onshore site surveys and data collection.
