Job summary

KBR Engineering Inc is seeking a Lead Instrumentation & Control Engineer for a 6 months contract at our Abu Dhabi office. The role will lead I&C engineering activities across the FEED and EPC lifecycle for onshore gas projects, ensuring safe, reliable and cost-effective solutions.

You will mentor a team, coordinate with clients and vendors, and drive discipline execution strategies while adhering to industry standards and project schedules.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Instrumentation or Electronics & Communication Engineering, or equivalent.
• Minimum 16+ years in I&C engineering in Oil & Gas, Petrochemical, LNG or Energy sectors.
• Professional certifications in Instrumentation, Automation or Functional Safety are a plus.

Responsibilities

• Lead and oversee all Instrumentation & Control engineering activities across FEED, detailed design and EPC phases.
• Act as technical authority for instrumentation, automation, control systems and functional safety.
• Coordinate with other disciplines to ensure safe, reliable and cost-effective I&C solutions.
