Job summary
KBR in Abu Dhabi, UAE is seeking a Lead Instrumentation & Control Engineer for a 6 months contract. You will lead all I&C engineering activities across FEED, brownfield modifications, and control system migrations, providing technical leadership to ensure safe, reliable and cost-effective solutions.
The role requires extensive experience in onshore gas processing facilities, safety instrumented systems, and compliance with IEC/ISA standards, with a focus on delivering quality engineering
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Instrumentation or Electronics & Communication Engineering; professional certifications in instrumentation/automation or functional safety are advantageous.
- Extensive experience leading I&C engineering teams on FEED to EPC lifecycle for oil & gas projects.
- Strong knowledge of safety instrumented systems, control valves, and project execution deliverables.
Responsibilities
- Lead all Instrumentation & Control engineering deliverables and discipline execution in FEED and related phases.
- Mentor engineers and coordinate with multi-disciplinary teams to ensure compliant, safe designs.
- Lead SIL/LOPA/HAZOP studies and ensure MOC processes are followed.
