Job summary

ARX is seeking a Project Manager for UAE offices in Dubai/Abu Dhabi. The role requires leading complex infrastructure projects with deep GCC experience, coordinating multidisciplinary teams, and ensuring budget, schedule, and quality targets are met.

The ideal candidate has 12+ years in project management, 5+ years as accountable PM, and strong client-facing skills. Fluent English and knowledge of UAE processes are essential; Arabic is a plus. We offer a dynamic, growth-oriented environment.

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering, Architecture, Construction Management, or related field.
Minimum 12 years in project management with at least 5 years as the accountable PM.
At least 5 years of GCC/UAE experience is required.
Proven experience managing complex infrastructure, transportation, or major development projects.
Strong ability to coordinate multidisciplinary teams and communicate credibly with stakeholders.
Sound commercial awareness including FIDIC contracts, change control, and fee management.
Working knowledge of project controls: baseline scheduling, progress measurement, and risk registers.
PMI/APM or chartered status is preferred; FIDIC contract administration experience is expected.
Arabic language capability is an advantage; excellent English is required.

Responsibilities

Own delivery of project scope, programme, budget, quality, and client satisfaction.
Coordinate consultants, contractors, authorities, and ARX internal teams.
Manage scope, deliverables, schedule, resources, budget, risk, and changes.
Establish and maintain the execution plan, responsibility matrix, risk log, and logs.
Track progress against baseline and address delays with clear recommendations.
Coordinate inputs across disciplines for design, reviews, and construction support.
Chair project meetings, issue minutes, and close out actions.
Manage contract administration, variations, and fee monitoring.
Handle project risk, approvals, stakeholder requirements, and interfaces.
Ensure document control and traceability of deliverables and correspondence.
Prepare progress, commercial, and risk reporting to client and ARX management.
Mentor junior staff and uphold ARX standards for quality and accountability.
