AECOM Abu Dhabi is seeking a detail-oriented Contract Manager to oversee a diverse portfolio of infrastructure contracts, ensuring compliance with UAE regulations and organizational policies. You will negotiate terms, monitor performance, and manage contractual amendments with project teams, vendors, and stakeholders.

Qualifications

• 15+ years of professional contract management experience in infrastructure, construction, or engineering projects.
• Proven ability to draft, review, and negotiate complex contracts.
• Strong knowledge of contract law, compliance, and regulatory requirements.
• Ability to analyze contracts for risks, liabilities, and opportunities.
• Experience managing vendor/supplier relationships throughout the lifecycle.
• Proficiency with contract management software and document management systems.
• Excellent organizational and time management skills with multiple contracts.
• Strong financial acumen and experience tracking budgets.
• Excellent written and verbal English communication.
• Familiarity with infrastructure project contracts and industry standards (preferred).
• Knowledge of UAE regulatory framework and local contracting practices (preferred).
• Professional certification in contract management or related field (preferred).

Responsibilities

• Draft, review, and negotiate infrastructure contracts to align with objectives.
• Analyze contract documents to identify risks, legal implications, and compliance issues.
• Maintain contract documentation and organize records for retrieval and audit.
• Monitor contract performance and vendor compliance with obligations.
• Manage amendments, change orders, and variations with approvals.
• Coordinate with legal, finance, and project teams to resolve disputes.
• Track timelines, renewal dates, and milestones to prevent lapses.
• Evaluate vendors and provide recommendations for future engagements.
• Prepare status reports for senior management and stakeholders.
• Ensure contracts comply with UAE regulations and organizational policies.
• Develop contract templates and standardized processes.
