Job summary

Uniqus Consultech is seeking a Manager to join its ARC practice, focusing on Financial Services clients across banking, insurance, asset management, and fintech sectors. You will advise on IFRS accounting matters, financial reporting, regulatory requirements, and finance transformation initiatives.

Lead engagements, mentor junior staff, manage client relationships, and support business development in the GCC. 7–10 years of experience, UAE/GCC familiarity, and excellent English required.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field.
• Professional qualification CA/ACCA/CPA/ACA or equivalent.
• 7-10 years of experience in Accounting Advisory, Audit, or Financial Reporting.
• 5+ years serving Financial Services clients (banks, insurers, asset managers, investment firms, or fintechs).
• Strong knowledge of IFRS and Financial Services accounting.
• Prior UAE/GCC experience preferred.
• Excellent communication, stakeholder management, and project management skills.
• Fluent in English; Arabic is an advantage.
• Experience with leading Financial Services institutions across the GCC.
• Exposure to complex IFRS, regulatory reporting, and finance transformation projects.

Responsibilities

• Lead accounting advisory and financial reporting engagements for Financial Services clients.
• Advise on IFRS 9, IFRS 17, IFRS 15, IFRS 16, financial instruments, impairment, and regulatory reporting matters.
• Prepare and review technical accounting memos, position papers, and IFRS-compliant financial statements.
• Manage client relationships and deliver high-quality project outcomes.
• Mentor and develop junior team members.
• Support business development activities, proposals, and client presentations.
