Job summary

Responsibilities

• Deliver high-impact advisory services to FS clients on IFRS matters.

• Prepare and review IFRS financial statements and technical memos.
• Support budgeting and client management; assist in BD with proposals.

Role amp ResponsibilitiesUniqus is seeking looking for an experienced and driven Assistant Manager with a Financial Services background to join our ARC team The role involves delivering high-impact advisory services to clients in the banking insurance asset management and fintech sectors with a focus on complex IFRS matters regulatory reporting and transaction accounting This role provides an excellent opportunity to work on high-profile FS clients and complex financial reporting engagements in a fast-paced and dynamic market

Responsibilities

Support and manage ARC projects for FS clients including IFRS 9 IFRS 15 IFRS 16 IFRS 17 implementations and advisoryFinancial instruments accounting valuation classification impairment Preparation and review of financial statements under IFRSFinance transformation and process optimizationConduct technical accounting research and prepare client deliverables including technical memos and position papers Work closely with FS clients to assess their accounting and financial reporting processes and provide tailored solutions Support Managers and Partners in project planning execution and client management Supervise and coach junior team members ensuring high-quality deliverables Collaborate with cross-functional teamsAssist in business development efforts proposals and client presentations

Qualifications

THE INDIVIDUAL Bachelor degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field. Professional qualification (CA, ACCA, CPA) is required. 4u20136 years of experience in accounting advisory or audit, with a minimum of 2u20133 years working with FS clients (banks, insurers, investment firms). Strong understanding of IFRS, especially standards relevant to financial instruments and insurance contracts. Experience in the UAE or wider GCC financial services market is a strong advantage. Strong analytical, communication, and project management skills. Proficiency in MS Excel and PowerPoint; knowledge of data analytics tools is a plus. Fluent in English; Arabic is an advantage.
