Job summary

Uniqus is seeking an Assistant Manager/Manager with a Financial Services background for its ARC team, focusing on IFRS matters, regulatory reporting, and transaction accounting for FS clients in banking, insurance, asset management, and fintech sectors.

The role offers exposure to high-profile FS clients and complex financial reporting engagements in a fast-paced market, with leadership responsibilities and opportunities to drive business development and client strategies.

Qualifications

• 5+ years in accounting advisory, financial reporting, or audit focusing on FS clients.
• Deep IFRS knowledge, especially IFRS 9, IFRS 17, IFRS 7.
• Experience with Big 4 or leading consulting firms preferred.
• Proven client engagement and team leadership experience.
• Strong regulatory understanding in the GCC region.

Responsibilities

• Lead accounting advisory engagements across banking, insurance, and investment sectors.
• Provide IFRS and regulatory reporting guidance.
• Advise on complex financial transactions and transformation programs.
• Oversee preparation and review of financial statements and policies.
• Develop strategic client relationships with senior finance leaders.
• Drive business development, proposals, pitches, and new clients.
• Manage multiple project teams with quality delivery and client satisfaction.
• Collaborate with global delivery teams and cross-functional stakeholders.
• Mentor and coach junior team members for capability building.
