Job summary

Azizi Developments in Dubai seeks an experienced HSE Officer to support the implementation and monitoring of Health, Safety and Environmental procedures across construction sites. You will ensure construction activities are carried out safely and in accordance with approved HSE plans, risk assessments, method statements, project requirements, UAE regulations, and applicable safety standards.

The ideal candidate must have hands-on construction site experience with strong knowledge of workplace

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or higher in engineering, occupational safety, environmental science or related field.
• Minimum 3–5 years HSE experience in construction is preferred.
• Strong knowledge of UAE HSE regulations and safety standards.

Responsibilities

• Implement and monitor HSE procedures and site safety requirements.
• Conduct regular site inspections to identify hazards and unsafe acts.
• Ensure compliance with risk assessments, method statements and HSE procedures.
• Monitor PTW for high-risk activities and enforce corrective actions.
• Conduct toolbox talks, safety briefings, and site safety awareness sessions.
• Ensure workers and subcontractors attend required safety inductions.
• Report accidents, incidents, near misses, and HSE concerns to the HSE team.
• Promote proactive safety culture and coordinate with site engineers and contractors.
