Job summary

Azizi Developments seeks an experienced HSE professional to monitor and enforce safety standards across construction sites in the UAE. You will conduct inspections, audits, risk assessments and incident investigations to prevent hazards and ensure compliance with regulatory requirements.

The role includes delivering toolbox talks, HSE inductions, and environmental management, while coordinating with contractors to uphold safe work practices. UAE-specific regulations knowledge is essential.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's or diploma in Health & Safety, Environmental Science, Civil/Mechanical Engineering is required.
• NEBOSH IGC is mandatory for the role.
• 3–5 years of HSE experience in UAE building/construction projects preferred.

Responsibilities

• Implement and monitor HSE policies, procedures and project requirements.
• Conduct site inspections, audits and risk assessments to identify hazards.
• Investigate incidents and near misses, and prepare corrective actions.
• Lead HSE trainings, toolbox talks and safety awareness sessions.
• Manage environmental controls and ensure waste and pollution safeguards.
