Job summary

Hitachi Energy is seeking a skilled Emirati professional in Environmental, Health and Safety (HSE) to develop, implement, and maintain robust EHS programs across operations in the UAE. The role focuses on improving HSE performance, fostering a strong safety culture, and ensuring regulatory compliance throughout the value chain.

Qualifications

• 3-5 years’ experience as an HSE Advisor in a high-risk industry.
• UAE National with degree/diploma in Mech/Chemical/Civil/Environmental/Electrical Engineering or Science and HSE qualification.
• Professional certifications such as NEBOSH IGC.

Responsibilities

• Maintain Project HSE Plan and update as required.
• Maintain Project Emergency Preparedness Plan.
• Assist Project Manager with HSE Meetings.
• Conduct Life Saving Rules assessments and HSE inspections.
• Review Risk Assessments, Method Statements, and Subcontractor HSE Plans.
• Investigate incidents and implement corrective actions.
• Report HSE statistics including hours, training and incidents.
