Job summary

Hitachi Energy is seeking an Environmental, Health and Safety (EHS) Professional to develop, implement, and maintain comprehensive EHS programs across our operations in the UAE. You will drive compliance, risk management, and continuous improvement while fostering an exemplary safety culture on project sites.

You will advise project teams on health and safety requirements, lead HSE drills, review risk assessments, and support ISO 14001/45001 programs.

Qualifications

Degree/Diploma in Engineering or Science with HSE qualification.
Professional certifications such as NEBOSH IGC.
Experience in client-facing roles is highly regarded.
Knowledge of ISO 14001 and 45001.
Strong communication, presentation and training delivery.
Experience implementing HSE programs and policies.

Responsibilities

Advise project team on health and safety requirements and standards for site activities.
Ensure compliance with HSE plans and regulations.
Maintain Project HSE Plan and Emergency Preparedness Plan.
Conduct HSE drills: Fire, Environmental, Rescue.
Assist Project Manager with HSE Meetings.
Review Risk Assessments and Method Statements.
Investigate all incidents and implement corrective actions.
Prepare and report HSE Statistics (hours, training, incidents).
