Job summary

Client of Hudson Manpower is seeking a Safety EHS Engineer for on-site work in the UAE, focusing on substation projects above 220 kV. The ideal candidate holds a Bachelors in Engineering (Civil/Electrical/Mechanical) and NEBOSH, with 5–10 years of EHS experience and strong English communication skills.

Joining is expected within 30–60 days. Passport validity of at least 9 months is required. The role requires strict adherence to PTW, WMS, and risk assessments and a proven safety culture on site.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering (Civil/Electrical/Mechanical) and NEBOSH certification mandatory.
• 5–10 years of proven EHS experience.
• Experience in Substation Projects above 220kV.
• Passport valid for at least 9 months.
• Good English communication (spoken and written).

Responsibilities

• Conduct HSE inductions and awareness sessions for all site personnel.
• Develop, implement and monitor HSE and welfare plans.
• Perform routine site inspections and lead incident investigations.
• Ensure compliance with Permit to Work (PTW), Work Method Statements (WMS) and risk assessments.
• Promote a safety-first culture and ensure works align with HSE policies.
• Provide safety reports and documentation related to site performance.
