Job summary

GEMS Education UAE is seeking an experienced Human Resources Officer to support recruitment, HR administration, and regulatory compliance within its Dubai schools. The role involves coordinating with the School Support Center HR team, school leadership, Government Relations, and other departments to ensure effective HR operations throughout the employee lifecycle.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field.
• Minimum 5 years progressive HR experience.
• Experience in educational or international organizations is preferred.
• Strong knowledge of UAE Labour Law and KHDA regulations.
• Experience with HR administration, recruitment coordination, and employee relations.

Responsibilities

• Support recruitment of teaching and non-teaching staff in coordination with SSC HR team.
• Manage onboarding including contracts, induction, and pre-employment documents.
• Coordinate visas, travel, joining formalities with Government Relations.
• Maintain HR records in HRIS and prepare routine HR reporting.
• Coordinate teacher licensing with KHDA and MOE.
• Ensure compliance with UAE Labour Law, KHDA regulations, and HR policies.
• Assist with HR audits and compliance procedures.
• Handle employee relations inquiries and confidentiality with discretion.
