Qualifications

• Bachelor of Arts or Bachelor of Science degree.
• 8+ years of related experience.
• Proficiency in Linux system administration (Rocky/SLES preferred).
• Experience with HPC batch schedulers such as PBS Pro or Slurm.
• Scripting abilities in Bash, Python, or Perl.
• Understanding of HPC architectures, distributed computing, and MPI-based workloads.
• US citizenship.
• Ability to participate in a 24/7 on-call rotation.

Responsibilities

• Lead and support daily HPC system operations and reliability of the scheduler and software stack.
• Collaborate with engineers, administrators, and developers to troubleshoot issues and enhance performance.
• Drive improvements in system efficiency, scheduler reliability, and operational resiliency.
• Utilize Linux administration, HPC schedulers (PBS Pro/Slurm), and parallel computing technologies to maintain supercomputing systems.
