Job summary

Apex Group in Abu Dhabi is seeking an experienced Hedge Fund Accounting Lead to manage NAV reviews, accounting controls, and a global client portfolio across multiple funds. You will drive quality, ensure regulatory compliance and foster client trust through precise reporting.

You will lead a team of fund accountants, groom talent, optimize processes, oversee month-end closes, and coordinate with auditors to prepare accurate year-end financial statements.

Qualifications

• 7–10+ years in Hedge Fund Accounting, including team leadership and NAV review.
• Degree in Accounting/Finance; ACCA or ACA preferred.
• Strong technical fund accounting, controls, client & auditor management, people leadership.

Responsibilities

• Provide technical leadership to the fund accounting team to ensure NAV accuracy and regulatory compliance.
• Perform risk assessment to ensure adequate resourcing for current clients and future growth.
• Act as a partner to clients to help grow their business in a controlled manner and meet regulatory requirements.
• Develop and manage a team of fund accountants, including performance reviews and development.
• Assist in developing controls and procedures for the fund accounting group.
• Review and reconcile daily calculations, P&L analysis, and investor allocations; support year-end statements.
