Job summary

Apex Group Ltd (UK Branch) seeks a senior Hedge Fund Accounting leader to drive NAV reviews, controls, and team performance. You will work closely with clients and auditors to ensure timely, accurate financials and regulatory compliance, while developing robust processes for risk management and resource planning.

The role requires 7–10+ years in hedge fund accounting, ACCA/ACA preferred, and a strong track record in people leadership and technical accounting excellence.

Qualifications

• 7–10+ years in Hedge Fund Accounting and NAV review experience.
• Degree in Accounting/Finance; ACCA or ACA preferred.
• Strong technical fund accounting, controls, client and auditor management, and people leadership.

Responsibilities

• Provide technical leadership to the Hedge Fund Accounting team to ensure accurate NAVs and regulatory compliance.
• Perform risk assessments; ensure adequate resourcing for current client base and growth.
• Develop and manage a team of fund accountants; conduct performance reviews and ensure control.
• Review daily P&L, cash projections, FX transfers, and investor allocations; reconcile GL and accounts.
