Job summary

GE Vernova is seeking a Control Systems Lead Project Engineer in Dubai to act as the single point of contact for engineering on the project. You will develop solid knowledge of electrical and mechanical control systems for turbines, generators, compressors and plant controls, coordinating technology resources and supporting commissioning at domestic and international sites.

You will work with experienced engineers to design, manufacture, and implement custom solutions that power energy systems

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in engineering or related discipline.
• Minimum 8 years of experience in power application with turbine-generator control systems for gas and steam turbines and excitation controls.
• Knowledge and experience with electrical and mechanical control systems.

Responsibilities

• Provide engineering support for retrofit control systems.
• Apply electrical and mechanical engineering principles to analyze, design, test and troubleshoot control systems.
• Lead project team to achieve KPIs and on-time deliverables while ensuring conformance to design practices.
• Coordinate and lead technical design reviews and ensure documentation is archived.
• Support customer meetings, factory acceptance testing, installation and commissioning of control systems.
