Job summary

Quest Global in Dubai seeks an experienced Gas Turbine Controls Engineer to lead system-level integration and drive safety, quality, and advanced control solutions. The role requires deep experience with GE Speedtronic Mark Controller Series and a proven ability to review complex projects across value streams.

You will mentor technical architects, define control standards roadmaps, and deliver system-level training while collaborating across cultures in a global engineering services environment.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in engineering or higher with 15+ years in Gas Turbine Controls Design (GE Vernova preferred).
• Minimum 6 years of experience in performing technical reviews.
• Excellent knowledge of New Units and Services Upgrade processes.
• Hands-on experience with physics-based simulation platforms for software validation.
• Demonstrated system-level knowledge and global collaboration across cultures.

Responsibilities

• Provide Safety and Quality excellence across Controls Alliance.
• Lead System Level Integration efforts across value streams.
• Perform complex project reviews across value streams.
• Ensure project risks are identified and mitigated.
• Approve project risk mitigation plans.
• Develop and teach system-level training.
• Mentor and coach technical architects.
• Lead RCAs across value streams.
• Establish controls standards road map for value streams.
• Share best practices across value streams.
• Lead Kaizen events.
