Job summary

Hire Feed is seeking a Senior Accountant Expert for a full-time role in the United Arab Emirates. The role centers on supervising financial reporting, ensuring adherence to accounting standards, and managing month-end close processes.

You will collaborate with cross-functional teams to optimize financial operations, review statements under US GAAP, coordinate with auditors, and drive improvements for more efficient and accurate financial data.

Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field with 5+ years of accounting experience.
Strong US GAAP knowledge and financial reporting requirements.
Experience with ERP systems (NetSuite, SAP, Oracle) and advanced Excel.
Excellent analytical and problem-solving abilities with attention to detail.
Effective communication to present financial data to non-financial stakeholders.

Responsibilities

Prepare and review monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements in accordance with GAAP standards.
Manage month-end and year-end close processes, including reconciliation of accounts and variance analysis.
Oversee the accuracy and timeliness of general ledger entries, journal entries, and intercompany transactions.
Coordinate with auditors during internal and external audits to ensure compliance and resolve discrepancies.
Develop and implement process improvements to enhance efficiency in financial reporting and accounting operations.
