Job summary

Parker Connect in the United Arab Emirates is seeking an experienced accounting professional to oversee the general ledger, ensure GAAP/IFRS compliance, and drive accurate month-end and year-end close.

You will manage journal entries, accruals, reconciliations, budgeting support, and collaborate with auditors, tax teams, and business units to strengthen internal controls and automate processes through ERP implementations.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Finance or Accounting.
• CPA, CA, ACCA or CMA preferred.
• 5+ years of experience in similar roles.

Responsibilities

• Oversee the general ledger accounting process with GAAP/IFRS compliance.
• Prepare and review journal entries, accruals, and reconciliations for month-end and year-end close.
• Maintain chart of accounts and correct classification of transactions.
• Conduct variance analysis on balance sheet and income statement accounts.
• Collaborate with auditors and support internal controls testing.
