Job summary

Energy World in the United Arab Emirates (Sharjah) is seeking a Senior Accountant to oversee comprehensive accounting operations and ensure accurate financial reporting. The role covers the full accounting cycle, including GL, AP/AR, reconciliations and close processes.

The ideal candidate will support budgeting, cash flow monitoring and work closely with management to strengthen financial controls in line with UAE accounting and tax requirements.

Senior Accountant – Full-Time Position

Role Summary

The Senior Accountant will be responsible for managing and maintaining accurate financial records and supporting the company’s overall financial reporting and accounting operations. The role will cover general ledger, accounts payable and receivable, bank reconciliations, month-end and year-end closing, inventory accounting, financial reporting, budgeting and cash-flow monitoring. The successful candidate will work closely with management and other departments to ensure strong financial controls, accurate reporting and compliance with UAE accounting and tax requirements.
