Job summary

Tanqeeb in Abu Dhabi, United Arab Emirates, seeks an experienced accountant to manage day-to-day accounting operations, including accounts payable, accounts receivable, and general ledger, ensuring accuracy and timeliness.

You will prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements, ensure GAAP/IFRS compliance and tax regulations, and oversee payroll; VAT filing/submission experience is a plus.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance from an accredited institution.
• CPA or CMA certification is highly advantageous.
• 3–5 years of progressive accounting experience in a corporate environment.
• Proven experience in managing financial closing processes and reporting.

Responsibilities

• Manage day-to-day accounting operations: AP/AR and general ledger.
• Prepare and analyze monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements with accuracy.
• Ensure compliance with GAAP/IFRS and tax regulations.
• Process payroll accurately with correct deductions and withholdings.
• Knowledge in VAT filing and submission.
