Job summary

Abbott in Dubai, United Arab Emirates, invites a seasoned Area Senior Financial Analyst to partner with MEAP & TR/CIS leadership. You will drive FP&A insights, forecasts, and decision support in a fast-paced pharmaceutical environment, enabling commercial performance and value creation across multiple markets.

The role requires 5+ years in FP&A within pharma/healthcare, strong Excel modeling, and solid GAAP/IFRS knowledge.

Qualifications

Minimum 5 years FP&A experience in pharma or healthcare
Experience supporting international / emerging markets is a strong advantage
Proven exposure to commercial FP&A and business partnering roles
Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Economics or related field
MBA or professional finance qualification (e.g. CFA CMA) is a plus
Advanced skills in Microsoft Excel and data analysis tools
Knowledge of GAAP and IFRS accounting principles

Responsibilities

Lead consolidation and analysis of weekly/bi-weekly Sales and P&L forecast and quarterly rolling forecast
Provide critical analysis of performance drivers and explain variances vs plan
Support monthly close with on-time accurate reporting and variance explanations
Coordinate quarterly rolling forecast process and ensure regional alignment
Monitor monthly/quarterly cash flow and improve cash conversion
Own FP&A end-to-end processes ensuring data integrity and governance
Communicate financial information clearly and on time according to standards
Manage manufacturing cost change cycles with FP&A Hub and stakeholders
Enhance HQ-to-affiliates dashboards and streamline FP&A processes
Prepare concise presentations to support business cases and initiatives
