Job summary

Emirates Integrated Telecommunications Company PJSC (du) is seeking a seasoned Network Engineer to act as SME for Fixed Access and GPON setups. You will resolve complex network and customer TTs for GOPN, P2P enterprise and consumer services, while coordinating with Customer Assurance and other teams to ensure SLA-aligned resolutions.

The role requires deep knowledge of Huawei Nokia GPON, CISCO routing and MPLS, plus CCNA/CCIE.

Qualifications

• Bachelor of Science in Electrical, Electronics, or Telecommunication Engineering.
• Leadership and management certifications.

Responsibilities

• Act as SME for Fixed Access and GPON Setup.
• Resolve network and customer TTs for GOPN, P2P enterprise and consumer.
• Interact with Customer Assurance teams for Enterprise and Fixed TTs.
• Troubleshoot IIB layer issues for Nokia and Cisco.
• Perform traffic optimization for best customer experience.
• Conduct periodic health checks on owned nodes and domains.
• Prepare DR runbooks and RFO updates to prevent recurrence.
• Maintain up-to-date network diagrams and documentation.
