Job summary

Emirates Integrated Telecommunications Company PJSC is seeking a Senior Network Engineer to act as SME for Fixed Access and GPON setup, resolving TTs across GOPN, P2P, and enterprise segments. The role demands strong knowledge of Huawei, Nokia, Cisco routing and MPLS, with coordination across Assurance teams to meet contracted SLAs.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Electrical, Electronics or Telecommunication Engineering.
• CCIE is preferred; 8+ years in Telecom domain and routing/switching.
• Experience with Cisco, Huawei, Juniper platforms and GPON/MPLS networks.

Responsibilities

• Act as SME for Fixed Access and GPON setup and optimize traffic.
• Resolve network and customer TTs for GOPN, P2P, enterprise and consumer setups.
• Interact with Customer Assurance teams to meet SLAs and RFOs.
• Perform daily/weekly health checks and capacity planning for IIB and fixed access domains.
• Provide on-time troubleshooting, escalate with vendors when needed.
• Develop technical reports and documentation; maintain up-to-date diagrams.
• Coordinate with planning teams on capacity upgrades and redundancy plans.
• Review vendor documentation and monitor vendor performance.
• Prepare DR runbooks and ensure service restoration readiness.
• Manage CRs and MOPs for du business needs.
