Talabat Holding seeks a Sr. Specialist FinTech - Payment Acceptance to own analytics of payment performance end-to-end, diagnose root causes of acceptance rate shifts, acquirer anomalies, and settlement movements.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of experience in Strategy or Operations in a tech, e-commerce, or fintech organization.
• Prior fintech experience is required.
• Deep working knowledge of the payments ecosystem – acquirer processing, issuer decline logic, 3DS flows, scheme rules, and settlement mechanics.
• Proficiency in data analysis tools (SQL and/or Excel/Sheets at advanced level, or BI platforms) with the ability to independently build analyses, reconcile datasets, and surface insights.
• Strong ownership, accountability, and urgency.
• Collaborative and adaptable, with cross-functional experience across product, legal, marketing, fraud, and business operations.
• Ability to lead through influence - driving cross-functional outcomes without direct authority.
• Naturally skeptical and data-driven - validate conclusions through data before acting.
• Ability to break down large, complex challenges into structured, executable action plans.

Responsibilities

• Own payment performance analytics end-to-end and diagnose root causes behind acceptance rate shifts, acquirer anomalies, and settlement movements.
• Validate claims from payment providers, product teams, and processing partners through independent data analysis.
• Lead deep-dive investigations into payment performance issues and operational gaps and present findings to senior leadership.
• Drive end-to-end project execution from feasibility to rollout in partnership with cross-functional teams.
• Evaluate internal and external opportunities aligned with fintech strategy and project-manage their execution.
