Job summary

IRTH Group seeks an experienced Finishing Engineer to manage interior finish-out across our Dubai developments. You will oversee site execution, quality, trade coordination, and handover to meet designs, schedules, and budgets.

The ideal candidate has 10+ years in finishing and fit-out, including 5+ years in the UAE/GCC, with a track record in premium or luxury developments. You will coordinate with design, procurement, QA/QC, MEP and site teams, supervise subcontractors, review drawings and

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in civil/architectural engineering or construction management.
• Minimum 10 years of experience in finishing and fit-out works on high-rise, villas or commercial projects.
• At least 5 years managing interior finishing works in UAE/GCC; fit-out background preferred.
• Strong ability to interpret architectural and MEP drawings and coordinate interfaces.

Responsibilities

• Manage finishing activities: ceilings, partitions, stone/tile, painting, joinery, kitchens, wardrobes, doors, glass, metalwork, FF&E.
• Review IFC/shop drawings, specs, BOQs, and material schedules; flag issues early.
• Monitor programs, coordinate manpower, materials, subcontractors, and sequencing.
• Ensure MEP coordination and inspections before closing ceilings/partitions.
• Coordinate with design/procurement/QA/QC/MEP/site teams to resolve issues and progress.
• Supervise subcontractors, monitor workmanship, productivity, and quality.
• Review material submittals, samples, and mock-ups; track long-lead items.
• Conduct site inspections and coordinate inspections/test plans per QA/QC.
• Monitor material usage, support progress measurements and variations; assist value engineering.
• Ensure HSE compliance and authority requirements.
• Manage snagging, defect rectification, and handover readiness; assist O&M manuals.
