Job summary

Flowdesk is seeking a highly motivated Financial Controller to lead monthly management and annual statutory close for key group entities. You will collaborate with the group finance team and external advisers, ensuring robust controls and accurate reporting.

Reporting to the Group Financial Controller, you will drive process improvement, policy documentation, and compliance across statutory and tax obligations, in a dynamic market including crypto trading exposures.

Qualifications

• Fully qualified Accountant with 5 years PQE.
• In-depth technical knowledge of IFRS.
• Experience with audit engagements.
• Regulatory and compliance landscape awareness, with crypto/trading exposure.
• Strong accounting systems skills, ideally NetSuite, plus MS/Google products.
• English language proficiency is mandatory.

Responsibilities

• Produce accurate monthly management accounts for group entities.
• Ensure assets, liabilities, income and expenditure are properly accounted for.
• Manage accounts payable and receivable processes, invoicing and collections.
• Prepare journal entries, reconciliations and month-end close.
• Maintain general ledger, COA and supporting schedules.
• Document accounting policies and strengthen internal controls.
• Ensure statutory, regulatory and tax compliance.
• Lead year-end statutory accounts and audits with external parties.
