Job description

The Group Wise Wolves Corporation operates through two holdings: Wise Wolves Group - a CySEC-authorised investment firm and a Central Bank of Cyprus-authorised Payment Institution. The Vault - institutional digital asset custody and infrastructure, including a CySEC-authorised MiCA CASP, a Swiss VQF-supervised VASP, a UAE operating entity and a UK entity. Multiple entities, multiple jurisdictions, fiat and digital asset balance sheets, and an active institutional fundraise. The role Build and run one finance function across the Group: one set of numbers, one control environment, one planning cycle - and make it materially more automated than a group this size would normally be. The operating model, reporting architecture, systems stack and control framework are being built now. You will design them and build much of them yourself. The team is small and will stay lean.

Responsibilities
Financial control and accounting

Own the integrity of the Group's financial records across all entities and jurisdictions, under IFRS and local statutory requirements. Define the Group accounting policy, chart of accounts, intercompany framework and close calendar; drive close to a 5-working-day cycle. Own consolidation and combination logic across entities, on a documented and auditable basis. Own the external audit relationship. Deliver clean, on-time audits with no material adjustments. Deliver regulatory financial reporting to CySEC, the Central Bank of Cyprus and the Swiss SRO - own funds, capital adequacy, liquidity. Own transfer pricing, intra-group service agreements, cost allocation and the related-party register, documented well enough to survive tax authority and regulator scrutiny.

FP&A and financial modelling

Own the Group budget and rolling forecast - P&L, balance sheet and cash flow by entity - with regulatory capital and liquidity modelled explicitly. Own and build the long-range Group model: multi-entity, multi-currency, multi-revenue-engine. Single source of truth for board and investor conversations. You build it; you do not outsource it. Own the management pack: unit economics by product line, customer profitability, cost-to-serve, runway and capital headroom by entity. Run monthly business reviews with commercial and product leadership - driver-based explanations, named owners, tracked actions. Support fundraising and related-party transactions: data room, diligence response, cap table, investor reporting.

Treasury oversight

Set Group treasury policy, risk appetite and limits. Hold Treasury accountable for execution within them. Own capital planning across entities: regulatory minimums, buffers, dividend and intra-group funding capacity. Approve intra-group funding structures - commercially justified, properly documented, regulator-defensible.

Control environment

Own delegation of authority, approval matrices, segregation of duties, four-eyes payment controls and evidence retention. Ensure reconciliation and attestation sit independently of payment execution. Establish internal audit coverage of finance processes and remediate findings on a tracked schedule.

AI, systems and data

A defining part of this role, not an add-on. We expect the finance function to run at a headcount that would be implausible without aggressive automation. Own the finance systems architecture end to end: ERP and general ledger, billing and revenue recognition, expense and procurement, treasury rails, and the reporting layer above them. Define and enforce the finance data model - entity, currency, cost centre, product, counterparty - as the standard upstream systems must conform to. Eliminate spreadsheet dependency from the close: automated intercompany elimination, automated bank and blockchain reconciliation, management reporting from a governed warehouse rather than hand-assembled decks. Deploy AI where it does real work: document extraction and coding, anomaly and exception detection across full transaction populations, variance commentary drafting, agentic workflows for repetitive control checks. Always with documented human review, auditability and appropriate data handling. Personally use AI tooling to build - models, queries, scripts, prototypes - rather than commissioning it and waiting. Measure the function on output: close days, manual journal count, reconciliation exceptions, forecast accuracy, cost of finance as a percentage of revenue. Essential Strong technical accounting capability - IFRS, group consolidation, statutory reporting - with a track record of clean audits. Formal qualification is not required; demonstrated capability is. Senior finance leadership in regulated financial services - investment firms, payment institutions, EMIs or banks - with direct exposure to regulatory capital and reporting. Multi-entity, multi-jurisdiction, multi-currency finance, including intercompany and transfer pricing. Built or materially rebuilt a finance function: systems, process and controls. Not just run an inherited one. Buil
