Job summary

Dubai Hospitality Design Studio is seeking a Senior FF&E Designer to lead the FF&E package for luxury hotel, resort and F&B projects in Dubai. You will drive concept sourcing, supplier selection and budget management, coordinating with interior designers and engineers to ensure seamless integration on site.

The role requires a strong portfolio, GCC experience and a track record of managing complex FF&E budgets and procurement in fast-paced environments.

Qualifications

• Minimum 8+ years of FF&E design experience for hospitality projects.
• Portfolio showing luxury hotel, resort, restaurant or F&B FF&E work.
• GCC experience, ideally Dubai, with regional suppliers and lead times.
• Experience with international hotel brands and operators is advantageous.
• Strong knowledge of furniture construction, materials and finishes.
• Proficient in AutoCAD, SketchUp, Adobe Creative Suite and MS Excel; working knowledge of Revit and rendering tools.

Responsibilities

• Lead development and specification of FF&E packages for high-end hospitality projects.
• Direct sourcing and selection of products and suppliers per design concepts and budgets.
• Oversee bespoke furniture and joinery design; review manufacture drawings.
• Review FF&E schedules, mood boards and client presentations.
• Manage FF&E budgets, quotations and procurement strategy with suppliers and contractors.
• Coordinate with interior designers, architects and consultants for full integration.
• Oversee lead times, deliveries, site visits and snagging inspections.
• Build supplier relationships and grow the studio's product library.
• Mentor junior FF&E designers and assistants to foster collaboration.

Job description

We are seeking an experienced Senior FF amp E Designer to join a leading hospitality-focused design studio based in Dubai. This is an exciting opportunity for a detail-driven specialist with a passion for furniture, lighting and decorative elements to lead the FF amp E package on luxury hotel resort and F amp B projects from concept sourcing through to installation.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead the development and specification of FF amp E packages for high-end hospitality projects including furniture, lighting, soft furnishings, artwork and accessories
• Direct the sourcing and selection of products and suppliers in line with design concepts, budgets, programmes and operator brand standards
• Oversee the design of bespoke furniture and joinery items reviewing detailed drawings and specifications for manufacture
• Review and approve FF amp E schedules, specification sheets, mood boards and presentations for internal review and client approval
• Manage FF amp E budgets, quotations and procurement strategy working closely with suppliers, contractors and procurement teams
• Coordinate with interior designers, architects and consultants to ensure FF amp E is fully integrated into the design
• Oversee lead times, deliveries and installation, leading site visits, inspections and snagging
• Build and maintain strong supplier and manufacturer relationships and develop the studio's product and materials library
• Mentor and support junior FF amp E designers and assistants fostering a collaborative team environment

Requirements

• Minimum 8+ years of experience in FF&E design or specification, with a strong focus on hospitality projects
• Proven portfolio showcasing luxury hotel, resort, restaurant or F&B FF&E work
• Previous GCC experience, ideally in Dubai, with strong knowledge of regional suppliers, manufacturers and lead times
• Experience working with international hotel brands and operators is advantageous
• Strong understanding of furniture construction, materials, finishes and technical detailing
• Proficiency in AutoCAD, SketchUp, Adobe Creative Suite and MS Excel, with working knowledge of Revit and rendering tools (e.g., 3ds Max, V-Ray or similar)
• Proven experience managing FF&E budgets and procurement
• Excellent communication, presentation and leadership skills
• Ability to work in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment
