Job summary

Client of Redfish Solutions in Dubai seeks an Associate Interior Designer to lead luxury hospitality projects from concept to delivery. You will shape creative output, nurture client relationships, and drive project delivery across hotels, resorts, restaurants and F&B venues.

The ideal candidate has 10–12 years in interiors, a standout luxury portfolio, GCC familiarity, and the ability to mentor teams while guiding design standards.

Qualifications

• 10–12 years of interior design experience in hospitality, with leadership exposure.
• Outstanding portfolio of luxury hotel/resort/restaurant or F&B design work.
• GCC experience, ideally Dubai, with knowledge of local market and approvals.
• Experience with international hotel brands and operators.
• Strong understanding of materials, FF&E, finishes, and technical detailing; can guide teams.

Responsibilities

• Lead the design of multiple high-end hospitality projects from concept through to completion, ensuring design excellence and consistency.
• Act as a senior point of contact for clients, operators and brand teams, presenting concepts and managing relationships.
• Provide creative direction and critical design review to project teams at key stages.
• Oversee project programmes, fees and resourcing in collaboration with studio directors.
• Coordinate with architects, MEP and other consultants to ensure a fully integrated design.
• Mentor and develop senior, intermediate and junior designers, contributing to a high-performing studio culture.
• Contribute to business development including pitches, proposals and fee submissions.
• Help establish and maintain studio design standards, processes and best practices.

Requirements

• Minimum 10 to 12 years of experience in interior design, with a strong focus on hospitality projects and previous experience in a lead or senior role
• Outstanding portfolio showcasing luxury hotel, resort, restaurant or F&B design work
• Previous GCC experience, ideally in Dubai, with a good understanding of the local market and approval processes
• Experience working with international hotel brands and operators
• Strong understanding of materials, finishes, FF&E selection, bespoke joinery and technical detailing, with the ability to guide teams through complex delivery
• Working knowledge of design software including Revit, AutoCAD, SketchUp, Adobe Creative Suite and rendering tools, sufficient to review and direct team output
• Commercial awareness, including an understanding of fees, resourcing and project profitability
• Excellent communication, presentation and leadership skills
• Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment
