Job summary

Jddesign is seeking an experienced FF&E Interior Designer in Dubai to lead selection, sourcing, and documentation of furniture, fixtures, and equipment for high-end residential, hospitality, and commercial projects.

Qualifications

Job SummaryThe FF&E Interior Designer is responsible for the selection, sourcing, coordination, and documentation of furniture, fixtures, and equipment for high end residential, hospitality, and commercial projects. The role requires strong technical knowledge, refined design sensibility, and the ability to deliver cohesive, innovative FF&E solutions aligned with the project’s overall design vision.

Responsibilities

• Collaborate closely with Senior Interior Designers to develop FF&E concepts.
• Source, select and specify furniture, lighting, fabrics, finishes, artwork, accessories, and decorative elements suitable for luxury projects.
• Prepare detailed FF&E schedules, specifications, material legends, and cost estimates.
• Coordinate with vendors, suppliers, and manufacturers to ensure compliance with project specifications, quality standards, and delivery timelines.
• Develop high quality presentation boards, mood boards, and material palettes for client meetings.
• Support tender documentation, procurement processes, and technical evaluations related to FF&E packages.
• Conduct site visits to supervise FF&E installation, verify quality, and ensure full alignment with design intent.
• Maintain updated knowledge of market trends, new materials, sustainable options, and innovations in FF&E design.
• Ensure all FF&E documentation is fully coordinated with Architectural, MEP, and ID drawings.
• Provide furniture layout plan using AutoCAD and others similar software

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Interior Design, Architecture, or a related field.
• Minimum 8 years of proven experience in FF&E design within the UAE or GCC, preferably on high end residential, hospitality, or luxury commercial projects.
• Strong proficiency in AutoCAD, SketchUp, Adobe Creative Suite, and Microsoft Office.
• Solid knowledge of materials, finishes, furniture construction, detailing, and luxury brands.
• Excellent organizational, communication, and presentation skills.
• Ability to manage multiple projects, meet deadlines, and work effectively within a multidisciplinary team.
• Familiarity with UAE suppliers, manufacturers, and FF&E procurement channels.
