Job summary

Wynn Al Marjan Island is seeking a skilled Events Manager - Asset Protection to join the Asset Protection team. The role focuses on translating security objectives into actionable event plans and designing operating models for the resort’s diverse venues.

The candidate will lead risk assessments, coordinate staffing and budgets, and advise senior leadership on emerging threats and regulatory changes in a hospitality, gaming, or entertainment setting.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in security, risk management, event management, or related field.
• ASIS CPP certification is preferred.
• 5+ years planning and leading security for large-scale events at major venues or integrated resorts.

Responsibilities

• Develop event-security plans aligned with enterprise risk management and brand standards.
• Coordinate long-range event calendars with resort leadership for staffing and budgets.
• Design integrated event-security operating models for hotel, casino, entertainment, and F&B spaces.
• Advise senior leadership on threats, regulatory changes, and best practices.
• Lead on-scene security during major events and coordinate with command-center operations.
• Benchmark security performance and drive continuous improvement.
• Build relationships with law enforcement and regulatory authorities.
• Develop training programs for crowd management, de-escalation, and VIP protection.
