Job summary

Wynn Al Marjan Island seeks an Assistant Director – Security Services to lead the resort’s security functions, including gaming, site and event security, and staff accommodations. The role demands strategic oversight, policy development, and collaboration with government authorities to uphold Forbes 5-Star standards.

The ideal candidate will have a Bachelor’s degree in security or related field, 10+ years in hospitality security leadership, and CPP or equivalent certification.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in security or related field.
• 10+ years leadership experience in hospitality-security for large operations.
• ASIS CPP or equivalent certification preferred.
• Strong leadership, communication, and decision-making skills.
• Proficient with MS Word, Excel, PowerPoint and databases.

Responsibilities

• Oversee operational security across gaming, site, and event security.
• Support Director with independent decision-making in routine and high-pressure situations.
• Provide security oversight for staff accommodation and logistics.
• Develop and implement security policies, procedures, and frameworks.
• Contribute to strategic planning with KPIs and performance standards.
• Ensure compliance with local regulations and gaming laws.
• Maintain relationships with government authorities and emergency services.
• Conduct reviews, gap analyses, and drive continuous improvements.
• Research and implement new security technologies to enhance efficiency.
• Support budgeting, forecasting, and purchase order management.
• Monitor regional threats and provide timely risk assessments.
• Update the Security Operations Manual and emergency plans.
• Coordinate with stakeholders for seamless security operations.
• Provide risk-management guidance to leadership.
• Oversee incident management and reporting quality.
• Support recruitment, training, and staff development.
• Ensure staffing and operational readiness across teams.
• Assist in emergency response execution and incident command.
• Contribute to event security planning and manpower budgeting.
