Job summary

Plus Palace General Contracting LLC is seeking a Senior Estimator to lead comprehensive cost estimation, tender preparation, and value engineering for luxury and high-end projects in the UAE.

You will review scope, develop cost breakdowns, manage BOQs, and coordinate with design and procurement teams to ensure competitive and financially viable bids. The role requires extensive UAE/GCC experience and a track record in budgeting and cost planning.

Qualifications

• Minimum: Bachelor’s Degree in Quantity Surveying, Civil Engineering, Architecture, or related field.
• MRICS, PMP, CIOB, CCP or equivalent professional qualification.
• 10–15+ years estimating experience in construction.
• UAE/GCC construction market experience preferred.
• Proven experience in tendering, estimating, value engineering, budgeting and cost planning.

Responsibilities

• A. Preparing detailed project cost estimates and reviewing scope and technical requirements.
• B. Managing BOQ take-offs and quantity verification with drawings and specs.
• C. Reviewing drawings, BOQs and tender documents for gaps and risks.
• D. Conducting value engineering and cost optimization studies.
• E. Participating in tender clarifications, negotiations and justifications.
• F. Coordinating procurement and subcontractor activities aligned with tenders.
• G. Liaising with project teams and consultants to resolve queries.
• H. Managing commercial risk assessments and mitigations.
• I. Maintaining documentation and tender status reporting.
• J. Supporting business development and continuous improvement of estimating processes.
