Job summary

Tanqeeb is seeking a senior construction estimator to lead the cost estimation process for high-end projects in Dubai. You will analyze specifications and drawings, collaborate with PMs and engineering teams, and drive accurate cost breakdowns.

The role demands 15+ years in construction estimating, with at least 5 years in a leadership capacity within UAE/GCC contexts. Preference for MRICS or related professional qualifications.

Qualifications

• Minimum 15 years of construction estimating experience.
• 5+ years managing an estimation team or function.
• Strong UAE/GCC Tier1 main-contractor experience and knowledge of Dubai supply chain and market rates.
• Proven delivery of luxury villas, high-end residential, hospitality, or complex turnkey tenders; premium finishing experience is required.
• MRICS, Certified Cost Professional, CIOB, PMP, or equivalent qualification preferred.

Responsibilities

• Lead the development of accurate cost estimates by analyzing project specs, drawings, and scope of work.
• Collaborate with project managers and engineering teams to understand requirements and adjust estimates.
• Conduct risk assessments to identify potential overruns and mitigation strategies.
• Maintain a database of historical cost data to improve future estimates.
• Prepare and present detailed cost breakdowns to stakeholders with clarity and transparency.
• Oversee the estimation team, providing guidance and mentorship.
