Job summary

Elegant Qubes Decorations in the United Arab Emirates seeks a senior Quantity Surveyor to review designs, prepare BOQs, and deliver accurate cost estimates for exhibitions, events, and interior fit-out projects.

You will assess material, production, installation, labor, logistics costs, and coordinate with Design, Projects, and Finance to confirm scope and budgets. Proficiency in AutoCAD and Excel is essential, and CEP or similar credentials are preferred.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Quantity Surveying, Civil Engineering, Architecture or related field is required.
• Minimum 7 years of UAE estimation experience in exhibitions, interior fit-out, or events.
• Strong knowledge of materials, production methods, market rates, and UAE suppliers.
• Proficient in AutoCAD, MS Excel, and estimation/BOQ preparation.
• Able to read technical drawings and prepare accurate quotations under tight deadlines.
• Strong analytical, negotiation, communication, and attention-to-detail skills.
• Professional certifications such as CEP or similar estimating credentials are preferred.

Responsibilities

• Review design drawings, specifications, BOQs, and tender requirements for exhibition stands, events, and interior fit-out projects.
• Prepare accurate quantity take-offs, cost estimates, BOQs, quotations, and tender submissions.
• Assess material, production, installation, labor, logistics, and equipment costs based on UAE market rates.
• Obtain, negotiate, and evaluate quotations from suppliers and subcontractors.
• Coordinate with Design, Projects, Production, Procurement, and Finance to confirm project scope, budget, and timelines.
• Recommend cost-effective materials and production solutions without compromising design, quality, or safety.
• Prepare client bid proposals and provide commercial clarifications when required.
• Monitor project costs and support variation orders and final accounts.
• Maintain updated supplier rates, pricing databases, and estimation records.
