Job summary

Black & Grey HR is recruiting a Senior Estimator to join our client’s team in Abu Dhabi, specializing in marble and stone estimation with a focus on cost control and technical accuracy for luxury interiors and building materials projects.

The role involves reviewing drawings, preparing detailed estimates, maintaining BOQs, coordinating with sales and project teams, and validating material costs and supplier quotations to ensure competitive bids and successful project delivery.

Qualifications

• Proven experience in marble/stone estimation within construction or luxury interiors.
• Ability to read and interpret AutoCAD drawings and technical documents.
• Strong understanding of stone cutting processes, costing methodologies, and BOQ preparation.
• Excellent analytical, numerical and communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Review and analyze architectural and engineering drawings, particularly AutoCAD files, to understand project scope.
• Prepare detailed cost estimates for marble and stonework including materials, cutting, labor and installation.
• Develop and maintain accurate BOQs for tender submissions and project execution.
• Collaborate with sales, design and project management to align estimates with client expectations and project requirements.
• Source and validate material costs and supplier quotations.
• Track and evaluate project variations and prepare cost impact reports.

We are seeking a skilled professional with proven expertise in marble and stone estimation capable of managing complex projects with a strong focus on technical accuracy and cost control.

Key Responsibilities:

• Review and analyze architectural and engineering drawings particularly AutoCAD files to understand project scope and specifications.
• Prepare detailed cost estimates for marble and stonework including material quantities cutting labor and installation.
• Develop and maintain accurate Bills of Quantities (BOQs) for tender submissions and project execution.
