Job summary

Al Darmaky Contracting & Agricultural Materials in Abu Dhabi seeks an experienced Estimation Engineer to prepare accurate cost estimates for infrastructure, civil, and landscape projects. You will handle quantity take-offs, BOQs, tender pricing, and risk assessment.

Responsibilities include reviewing tender documents, coordinating with procurement, engineers, and contractors, and maintaining cost databases.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Civil or Infrastructure Engineering.
• 4–6 years of estimating experience in infrastructure or civil construction.
• Proficient in quantity take-offs, BOQs, rate analysis, and tender pricing.
• Strong knowledge of roads, drainage, utilities, paving, and earthworks.
• Experience with AutoCAD and Excel.
• UAE experience, Abu Dhabi preferred.
• Excellent communication and coordination skills.

Responsibilities

• Review tender documents, drawings, BOQs, and contract requirements.
• Prepare detailed cost estimates, BOQs, and tender pricing.
• Estimate infrastructure works such as roads, drainage, and utilities.
• Perform rate analysis and unit cost calculations.
• Obtain and compare quotations from suppliers and subcontractors.
• Calculate materials, manpower, equipment, and other costs.
• Identify risks, exclusions, and commercial opportunities.
• Coordinate with Procurement, QS, Engineering, and Project teams.
• Review drawings and conduct site visits as needed.
• Support tender submissions and negotiations.
• Maintain rate databases and seek value engineering opportunities.
• Prepare estimation reports for management.
