Job summary

Aldar Properties is seeking a Senior Associate – Environmental to lead EMS development and ensure ISO 14001 compliance across major construction projects in Abu Dhabi.

You will coordinate with PMC, consultants and contractors, monitor regulatory compliance, and drive environmental performance data collection and reporting. Fluency in English and Arabic is expected, with 5+ years in environmental engineering within large developers or construction firms.

Qualifications

• Min of 5+ years of experience in Environmental Engineering with large developer or construction firm.
• Experience with ISO 14001 and related regulatory frameworks.
• Strong knowledge of Abu Dhabi/GCC environmental rules and regulations.
• Experience in contractor assessment and qualification for environmental requirements.

Responsibilities

• Develop and implement EMS and policies to ensure ISO 14001 compliance.
• Monitor external PMC/consultants to meet objectives and regulatory requirements.
• Coordinate with PMC, consultants and contractors for pollution control and waste management.
• Regular inspections and audits to ensure environmental policy implementation.
• Collect data and prepare monthly environmental performance dashboards.
