Job summary

PeopleStrong is seeking an experienced EHS/Environmental Manager to lead environmental impact assessment efforts for large-scale projects in the UAE. The role requires NEBOSH and ISO 14001 familiarity, with a background in civil/environmental engineering.

You will develop and implement ESMS, ensure compliance with lender standards, engage stakeholders, and oversee incident investigations and audits across project phases.

Qualifications

• Environmental or Engineering degree with NEBOSH Diploma/IGC qualification.
• Professional license/membership (Grad IOSH/CM IOSH) is advantageous.
• 10–15 years of construction experience, minimum 3 years in power & IFC-funded projects.

Responsibilities

• Providing expert assessment and advisory services for environmental issues.
• Evaluating current environmental policy; developing management systems and processes.
• Ensuring compliance with plans, permits, regulations and lender standards.
• Integrating ESMS requirements into planning, construction and operation phases.
