Job summary

Jumeirah Gulf of Bahrain is seeking a Senior Technician to join the Engineering Department. The role focuses on maintaining and repairing existing equipment and performing preventive maintenance to ensure continuous operation without shutdowns.

Essentially, the candidate should have a high school diploma (Bachelor in Engineering preferred) and at least 5 years of hospitality-related experience. Duties include PMs, spare parts management, logbook updates, and addressing guest/service area needs.

Qualifications

• Essential - High School Diploma.
• Desirable - A Bachelor Degree in Engineering, or any other relevant field.
• Experience - Minimum of 5 years of experience in relevant field within the hospitality industry.

Responsibilities

• Carry out maintenance of equipment where he works.
• Order and replace the correct spares of equipment.
• Complete the daily breakdown work orders.
• Ensure working conditions and report any unsafe conditions to seniors.
• Organize work in a standard and professional manner.
• Maintain the work area safe and tidy.
• Update the Logbook with regards to any issues during the shift.
• Maintain high standard of all engineering services for kitchen and laundry areas.
• Attend guest complaints as well as complaints from other departments.
