Job summary

EMSTEEL Group is seeking a detail-oriented Document Controller in Abu Dhabi to manage asset-related documentation within the SAP system. You will ensure accurate collection, verification, upload, and linkage of documents, supporting Reliability and Engineering teams with traceable records.

You will oversee EDMS administration, revision tracking, and compliance with company standards, coordinating reviews, MOC updates, and interdepartmental communication while handling contracts, POs, invoices,

Qualifications

• Diploma or equivalent qualification in Project Management, Engineering Administration, or a related field.
• 8–12 years of experience in technical or engineering document control within an industrial environment.
• Minimum 5 years of experience managing engineering document management systems and procedures.
• Strong knowledge of EDMS, SAP, Oracle, or similar document management platforms.

Responsibilities

• Manage and maintain asset-related documentation within the SAP system, ensuring accurate collection, verification, upload, and linkage of documents.
• Coordinate document reviews, updates, approvals, and quarterly status reporting.
• Support Engineering Management of Change (MOC) documentation and updates.
• Administer electronic document management systems (EDMS) and maintain master records.
• Upload and control policies, procedures, technical documentation, and records in the IMS system.
• Ensure document quality, confidentiality, and compliance with company standards.
• Support shutdown documentation, contracts, purchase orders, invoices, and engineering records.
• Facilitate interdepartmental communication and provide departmental coordination support, including meeting coordination and personnel administration.
