Job summary

Worley in Abu Dhabi, United Arab Emirates, seeks a Senior Document Controller to lead project documentation from Concept to handover. You will ensure controlled distribution of drawings and technical documents across multidisciplinary teams within the EDMS ecosystem.

The role requires extensive experience with EDMS (Aconex, SharePoint, Documentum, OpenText), ADNOC/PMC procedures, and GCC-region exposure. A management mindset and mentoring skills are essential for this employee role.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent with extensive EDMS experience in Oil & Gas projects (GCC preferred).
• Minimum five years in GCC region in Oil & Gas or Petrochemical industries.
• Extensive experience with EDMS such as Aconex, SharePoint, Documentum, OpenText.

Responsibilities

• Establish and maintain project document control procedures in line with ADNOC/PMC.
• Manage document control for Concept through handover phases.
• Register, classify, distribute, and archive engineering, vendor, contractor and client documents.
• Ensure numbering, revision control, metadata, and status tracking.
• Coordinate document reviews with PMC, ADNOC, EPC Contractors, licensors, vendors and third parties.
• Generate document control reports, KPIs, and dashboards; monitor review cycles.
• Mentor and guide Document Controllers and project administration personnel.
