Job summary

PeopleStrong is seeking a Process Engineer for Petrochemical Project Engineering. You will participate in process simulation studies and review heat and mass balance sheets, liaising with Job Engineers and Lead Engineers.

You will interface with clients and vendors, review PFDs, P&IDs, datasheets for rotating and static equipment, and prepare engineering documents, SAFE charts, and hydraulic calculations to support contract execution.

Qualifications

• Bachelor of Technology (BTech) is required.
• Experience with process simulation and petrochemical projects preferred.
• Strong communication and coordination with multi-discipline teams.

Responsibilities

• Liaise with Job Engineers and Lead Engineers, Project manager and Project Engineering manager.
• Interface with Clients (PEM/PE) and Vendors.
• Performing / Review Simulation studies and developing Heat & Mass Balance sheet.
• Review Sizing of Equipment, Instrument and Lines.
• Prepare / Review PFD, P&ID.
• Prepare / Review Datasheets for Rotating, Static and Instruments.
• Estimate of Power load.
• Prepare/ Review Engineering documents, reports & Operating manual.
• Prepare/ Review SAFE Charts, Cause & Effect Diagram.
• Review Flare, Blowdown & Depressurization calculations.
• Review Hydraulic calculations of network lines.
• Provide engineering support to Lead Engineers for contract execution.

Job Description

To liase with Job Engineers and other discipline Lead Engineers, Project manager & Project Engineering manger

Interface with Clients ( PEM/PE) Vendors (via PEM/PE or appropriate fellow JEs )

Performing / Review Simulation studies and developing Heat & Mass Balance sheet

• Review Sizing of Equipment, Instrument and Lines
• Preparation / Review of PFD, P&ID
• Preparation / Review of Datasheets for Rotating, Static and Instruments
• Estimation of Power load
• Preparation/ Review of Engineering documents, reports & Operating manual
• Preparation/ Review of SAFE Charts, Cause & Effect Diagram
• Review Flare, Blowdown & Depressurization calculations
• Review Performing Hydraulic calculation of network lines

To provide engineering support to Lead Engineers for contract execution.

• To be responsible for all the work with reference to a document/deliverables and/or activity assigned to him.
• To ensure that the documents/deliverables, generated, are in order before issuing it to others.
• To anticipate and discuss any potential delays and problems, if a with the Lead Engineer
• To co-ordinate with the fellow Job Engineers and Lead Engineers for smooth progress of the contract
• To provide inputs as and when required to the relevant disciplines and to designers
• To identify the inputs required for Need list and Hold list and update
