Job summary

WISON ENERGY ENGINEERING (HONG KONG) LIMITED ABU DHABI looks for an experienced Process Engineer to perform process simulations, heat and material balances, and hydraulic calculations for oil & gas projects in Abu Dhabi.

You will size and specify equipment, issue datasheets, and participate in HAZOP/SIL safety reviews while supporting commissioning and on-site troubleshooting. A background of 8–15 years in FEED and detailed EPC projects is required, with strong English skills.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Chemical or Petroleum Engineering.
• 8–15 years of process engineering experience in oil & gas, petrochemical or refinery projects.
• Solid FEED and detailed engineering experience within an EPC environment.
• Good command of written and spoken English.

Responsibilities

• Perform process simulation and heat and material balance calculations.
• Size and specify process equipment and issue datasheets and PFDs/P&IDs.
• Carry out flare relief and depressuring studies and PSV sizing.
• Participate in HAZOP/SIL and safety reviews; close out actions.
• Support commissioning, start-up and on-site troubleshooting.

Job description

• Perform process simulation heat and material balance and hydraulic calculations using Aspen HYSYS PRO-II UniSim Prepare and review PFDs P IDs process datasheets and cause-and-effect diagrams
• Size and specify process equipment including pumps compressors heat exchangers columns and vessels issue equipment datasheets and process packages
• Carry out flare relief and depressuring studies define relief loads and support PSV sizing
• Participate in HAZOP SIL and safety reviews close out actions and update design
• Support commissioning start-up and troubleshooting activities on site when required
• Bachelor's degree or above in Chemical or Petroleum Engineering.
• 8 to 15 years of process engineering experience in oil & gas, petrochemical or refinery projects.
• Solid track record in both FEED and detailed engineering within an EPC environment.
• Good command of written and spoken English.
